Fragility Curves of Existing RC Buildings Accounting for Bidirectional Ground Motion

In recent decades, the considerable number of worldwide earthquakes caused damage and several building collapses, underlining high vulnerability existing buildings designed without seismic provisions. this regard, work analyses performance a reinforced concrete any criteria, characterized by seismically-stronger seismically-weaker direction, such as concrete-framed structures for vertical load only. The case study was modelled in OpenSees considering non-linear three-dimensional model, also accounting contribution joint panel deformability on global behavior. Thirty bidirectional ground motions have been applied to structure with highest component alternatively directed along two principal directions.
